Making A Loving Decision

Today we made the decision to move forward with Hospice Care for my grandmother. Hospice Care is no longer confined to those with terminal illnesses, but rather a large population who chose to die with dignity and at home. This decision mandates no more hospital visits. So Grandma will no longer have to endure poking and proding to find out that she is old and her body is weakening! As luck (or God) would have it, my old friend Kim showed up at the door today to do the assessment. Right away, I knew this was going to be O.K.!(Spacie: yes, another "Joyce" moment!) Admittance begins Sunday and care will start on Monday. We will have "on-call" services 24/7 with Medicare helping with the money aspect. Probably the last sacred ground Mr. Bush hasn't decimated in our health-care system! Thank You Spacie Gracy...I owe you so much! Photo is of Gramdma and baby Katherine in Leavenworth!
