I am so sad...
My friend, Brett, is going to die from congestive heart failure. I caught up with him and he said he hasn't let on to many people. I knew right away when I saw him. He has been given a year or so. His body is deteriorating rapidly and he has that "look." Brett is close to his 12 year-old daughter, Christie. He is sharing the journey with her; that is a wonderful thing!
Also, Pop Kroner died this weekend and I am very sad for my friends, Roy and Barb. They had Pop in hospice care, with the same people we had, so they were in good hands.
All these souls leaving again, makes me wonder if the universe is shifting!

change is constant... and difficult... i am so in flux right now myself... what a roller coaster ride!
It's the difficult part of aging...more people around us are dieing. My in laws just lost their backyard neighbor. They spent many New Years Eves with her.
I remember seeing Pop Kroner at Confirmation last year. He was Lawrence's sponsor, I think. It was so sweet.
