Well...
I fell pretty bad today. I got a 49 on my chem test, 72 on Bio, 76 on lab practical, 83 on my nutrition test. I can drop the chem grade, but it will be difficult to keep up the 70% I have in the class. I have solid B in bio and an A in Nutrition.
I am re-taking chem in the fall with a different teacher. My advisor was a little upset that I have to do that, but I told her there was no way I will take it again with Dr. Steel! She understood, and it won't hurt me to do it again.
I just feel crappy...very sad. Never flunked before in college; it's a horrible feeling!

For Momma Bear (hope this helps!)
Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but often leaves the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. So what does it mean? One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.
Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.
Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.
In the latest research, it has been shown that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.

Farewell, Mr. Jeni
LOS ANGELES --
Richard Jeni, the well-known standup comic whose career spanned three decades, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.
Jeni, 45, was found inside a Los Angeles home Sunday seriously injured, but still alive after police responded to the residence after receiving a call from Jeni’s girlfriend, who is a Los Angeles Police officer.
Norma Eisenman told police, “My boyfriend shot himself in the face,’ the LA Times reported.
Jeni, whose real name was Richard John Colangelo, died a short time later at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Jeni was constantly touring country with a stand-up act that had won him awards and entertained audiences since the late 1980’s. He had starred in several HBO comedy specials, most recently ‘A Big Steaming Pile of Me,’ which aired during the 2005-2006 season.
Another HBO special, Platypus Man, won a cable ACE awards for best comedy special.

I'll take an "A" in nutrition, Alex!
Normally, I can't brag about my luck; but today Ican!
As per her ususal self, my nutrition professor gave us another pop quiz. Of course, I didn't read the chapter because I had eye surgery and I caught up on the other subjects.
So, we are asked to name the disease that comes from iodine deficiency. Well, I knew you get goiters from iodine deficiency, but I certainly didn't have the name of the "disease." So I wrote that you get goiters from iodine deficiency.
Guess what the disease is called...you got! "Goiter!" Talk about bullshittin' your way through a class...I really need this A!
