Gladys does not own this shirt!

She is on her first date tonight! We told her she can do anything with Jeremy as long as she can do it in front of her parents! They headed to the movies, but the lines were too long so they headed back to Jeremy's and his mom will have her back here at 11:30!

Place your bets!

Pocaroja came to see us tonight. She and Katemonster have decided Pocaroja has to move out, which made me sad! We had such a nice visit. Pocaroja has to do a final to the song "Dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me!" I told her she is not going to get through it without thinking of us and laughing...I'd be willing to put $$$ on it! I love my Pocaroja!

Dear Pocaroja...Here is your report!

Merkin:

A pubic hair piece. A toupee for the pubic area/genitals. In the 1700’s when mercury was used to treat sexually transmitted diseases (Gonorrhea or Syphilis) one of the side effects was the loss of pubic hair. To disguise this condition, that was not cured by mercury, a Merkin was employed.

To hide the fact that she had Gonorrhea, Pocaroja used a merkin regularly at the Y.

Woman is kicked off a Delta Affiliate for BREAST-FEEDING

Read this story!!! Click on my protest poster!
I wrote Delta an e-mail...Here it is:
As a mother of four who breast fed babies on airline flights, I was saddened by the Freedom Airlines response to the mother who was feeding her child in pre-flight. The flight attendant should have been the one removed from the flight, as her behavior and response to this situation was not only out-of-line, but unprofessional!

I was luck enough to sit next to a pediatrician on a flight from Denver to Baltimore when my first child was 6 months old. He praised me for breast-feeding my child and for the physical response it had on my child during lift-off and touch-down...NO CRYING BABY!!!

This child is now 17 and ready for college. We discussed this over breakfast this morning and decided that Delta Airlines and their affiliates will not have paying customers from our family. It is our belief that a narrow-minded flight attendant should have never been tolerated or placed above a paying customer.

A little romance

The beauty on the left has a little something going on with my friend's son, Jeremy. Her sisters blabbed all to me yesterday, and now Ms. Gladys is a little peeved. Appearantly, I am not to know about this, as Gladys seems embarrassed enough! Well, nothing is truly sacred in my world, so I questioned her. She says nothing is going on, but the cell bill and IM's are giving another story. Jeremy's mom and I will be "chatting" today. I just want to make sure we are both on top of this little romance and that nothing bad happens to either one of them...dang those interfering moms!!!

They be over!

After a loooong morning, the reports are out...I have great, and appearantly, smart kids! (Huh, who knew??!!!) Actually, I knew most of what the teachers were going to say, so I soaked it in and took credit for the most part! He, he, he! Seriously, I was pleased to hear that the kids act differently at school than they do at home. My only real sad point was when I found out Gladys has a "C" in geometry. When I asked her about it, she said, "Yeah, becuz I hate it!" Hmmmm...maybe she needs an attitude adjustment. Perhaps no more Jeremy for awhile!

It makes me cry, too!

Truevalueman just came in to tell me Bootsy is dead at the bottom of our stairs. I knew she hasn't been doing well. She ran away for about a month and came back looking horrible. I told the kids if they had the chance to hold her, to let me know so that I could get a good look at her and give her some Frontline. Now I feel so sad! She was such a sweet kitty. I told Truevalueman to take her out to the woods and let her go out there. At this time of night there's not a whole lot more we can do; telling the kids will be rough!

Guess what tomorrow holds for me!?

Well, first~let the teacher know that if your kids isn't learning, it's the TEACHER'S fault!
Be sure to emphasize your superiority by sitting at the teacher's desk and making the teacher sit at the kid's desk.
Bring in your child's tests and prove to the teacher your child should not penalized for having wrong answers as it lowers yours child's self-esteem.
Insist your child is "gifted" and the teacher doesn't see it.
And never show fear, teachers can smell it; be on the defense!

Geez...Where did we get so much stuff?

I finally broke down and started cleaning out the "Bradcave." I just couldn't find all of my Christmas items, so I went for it. Right now, I have about 10 garbage bags and about 10 boxes filled with trash. A pile of empty boxes is growing, too. I am gathering up clothing for Goodwill as well. My house looks like it has exploded!

Irish Food

For the second time this week, I have eaten at the Au Pointin Stihl in Timmonium. The food is soooooo good! I am usually stuffed walking outta there! If it were in Ireland, like this place, it would fit right in!

A cute little something from Momma Bear...

A University of Michigan Professor was giving a lecture on "Involuntary Muscular Contractions" to his first year medical students.

Realizing that this was not the most riveting subject, the Professor decided to lighten the mood slightly.
He pointed to a young woman in the front row and said, "Do you know what your ass hole is doing while you're having an orgasm?"

"Probably deer hunting with his buddies," she replied.

Look ! Littleman and I saw the double rainbow today!

It was spectacular !

I have some issues with Murtha

It was a huge surprise to me that Pelosi is endorsing John Murtha. Because I want to see Speaker (to-be) Pelosi succeed in her post, and truly enforce the ethics rules, it bares the question: Why?
It is no secret that Murtha has pork issues. (Um, not just his obesity, either.) There are serious violations from ABSCAM to endorsing contracts with KSA, a defense company where his brother works and lobbies for.
Murtha and his supporters are crying fowl or worse "swift-boat!!!" Why is pulling out the truth a swift-boat manuever? In a party whose platform was to promote ethics and change, this should be part of our cleansing process.
Clearly, John Murtha has power and power Pelosi wants aligned for the Democrats, but I wonder if she isn't selling herself and us short. Change comes at a high price, maybe it's a price nobody really wants to pay, which to me is why politiking in America just makes me sick!

Classes are scheduled....

So I met with Dr. Ricker today. I loved her! (She has a SPERM collection!!!) We decided on the courses I will be taking and mapped it out so that I leave York College with an Associates in Biology. Because we felt I needed to brush up on math, my credits from Penn State have been removed and I will now have to acheive a passing grade at York; that is the least of my worries!
My schedule is Chem I with a lab, Bio I with a lab, Algebra and Nutrition. 14 credits with two 8 am labs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Gotta make Brian get up early and catch the bus at his cousin's house...he ain't gonna like it, but that is what fits best for the family and with what is available for Spring '07.
This saga shall be continued, unfortunately!

Ok...one more thing done!

This just totally sucks! My EFC is sooo high! I didn't know we were that rich! I wish this form would take into account that we feed, cloth and provide activities for these kids...it would show a more accurate picture of our financial picture!

Nutcracker Update...

We are all said and done with the Nutcracker and now heading full swing into production of the Holiday Show! The Moscow Ballet was an interesting experience to say the least...lots of beer backstage on Wednesday Night! However, Friday's performance was spectacular! Performers were impressed with the kids and said they were very well prepared. Nice to hear!

Last Weekend...

Dealing with Firecop is like...

Firecop had his biopsy today. I FINALLY got to talk to the Doc. It does seem like bladder reconstruction maybe neccessary, but Firecop won't have any talk of it. He said he'd rather die with the tumor. While I am hoping it was the drugs talkin', a part of me is scared he may not be joking. I feel like I am chasing my tail on this one. I did tell the doctor that I would support the procedure and assured him I would endorse the idea. The rest, however, is truly up tp my uncle. After all, chasing your tail leads you to no where!

My new theme song...

Some punchlines really aren't funny!
