Doing my healing than harm.

The NTWH Wounded Warrior Writers' Workshop
Our veterans have something to say, and we want to help them say it! This summer, The National Theatre Workshop of the Handicapped is proud to offer The Wounded Warrior Writers' Workshops, two ten-day writing workshops designed to get veterans' personal stories to the page, and from the page to the stage. The Workshops, held at our beautiful Crosby campus in coastal Maine, will allow veterans to advance their communication skills, enhance their reading and writing abilities, connect with other disabled veterans, and transform their personal experiences into dramatic monologues created for the stage and screen.
How powerful! To be able to tell your story and heal at the same time! To be in the presence of real heroes, sharing their pain and their journey!

no, lol!

actually, the soldiers sit down, write their experiences down, take acting lessons, and perform their monologues on stage.

i was watching some of them this morning. it was so powerful! especially for those who lost a buddy when they received their injuries!
