Homemade Granola
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup wheat germ (i used the roasted)
1/2 cup of almonds
1 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup agave nectar (dark amber)
Mix the first 4 ingredients together in a bowl. Heat butter and agave nectar in microwave until butter melts. Stir in the butter and agave nectar into the dry mix. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 until lightly toasted. You need to stir every 5 minutes to get an even texture. Cool and store in air tight container.
The nice thing is you can add other nuts, coconut, dried friuts or whatever! You can add vanilla instead of cinnamon...the sky's the limit!

you can reduce the agave too or add more to taste. it turned out pretty good, considering i made it up!
that's the best kind... when you make it up yourself!
i did like it...better than the store-bought. it was really crunchy, even in milk!
