Now, it's my turn
need some advice here... I am feeling really "uninspired" with my volunteer position on a board that I am on. I am dreading the project I started and the people it involves. I love working with the kids and for the kids, but the grown-ups are starting to ruin the whole affair for me. So my question is, do you think it's ok for me to resign after this project is over? It can continue on without me, but it maybe shaky. Brad really wants me out of it. So he gets points for his opinion. I am conflicted because I worry about the future of this project. Some advice, PLEASE!

you already know what i think on the matter because we've talked about this before... i believe that in feeding others we are fed, that in giving we receive... therefore, my own personal paradigm for the community service that i perform is that it must fill my spiritual well and satisfy my soul or i weed it from my garden...listen to your heart, mamao4, the answer is within you

yes and with that comes a sense of fulfillment. if you are not inspired anymore, then something needs to change. you need to take your volunteer work somewhere else that will be both beneficial to others and still inspire and fulfill you. i also believe that you already know your answer, but you just regret having to make the decision.
i think you're right. there is some sadness about leaving and trusting my project to others. it's just scary to be vulnerable.

i hate being nakey and squishy. i like my shell. too bad i've grown out of it!
oddly enough, a cycle i see quite frequently in my fish tank. but i promise... none of you will be eaten alive
give me that promise on a dove wrapper and maybe i'll bite!

aaah, you guys really wub me. have buddha boy put one there for me and i'll open my dove fortune next time i come over. i need all the karma i can get!!
