JOB DESCRIPTION:
Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an often chaotic envi ronment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills! And be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities. Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the p hysical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment theNext. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Must assume final, complete accountability for the quality of the end product. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.
POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION:
Virtually none. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
None required unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.
WAGES AND COMPENSATION:
Get this! You pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.

Such a week! First Momma Bear sends me a card shower and then Spacey sends me cards and a book on Friends Forever! I just wish I knew what I have done to deserve such love! Thank you so much! I feel so special and loved! You guys are the BEST!!!!

My sweet little Gladys called me this morning. I don't think she really likes her roommates, but I think it's because they were all up too late! They are heading to Busch Gardens today, so that will be fun-the weather is great today! They will be getting home at midnight tonight. I hope she has a great time!

I sure am missing my Bitser-B!

Life here in the kitchen is quite quiet without Bits! She is soooo missed right now! Bits can make me laugh until I pee my pants. Her energy is contagious and her smile can light up a room! I hope she is having a great time, but man! I really miss her!

Darlin' Daughter gets her invite!

Darlin' Daughter will be inducted into Susky's National Honor Society on Monday, May 22, 2006. SHS only inducts seniors into their National Honor Society. Congrats, my girl! (I knew all along! Mrs. Toman knows a treasure when she sees one!)

Gladys is off to Williamsburg!

Gladys leaves in the morning for her class trip to Williamsburg, Virginia! The kitchen will not be as cheerful while she is traveling. I am gonna miss my Glady!~Mommahittie

Scratching My Head!

In a brief blurb on CNN today, I heard that the UN's new council on Human Rights was voted in. However, if reform is what the UN was looking for, then why is there a majority of countries with major human rights violations on the council? I have tried surfing around to find more info, but all I could find were vague explainations on this vital change. I am still scratching my head! Kofi-Anin seems to be less in control of the reforms he is trying to impose! What will still stop these countries from protecting one another as they have traditionally done in the past?
Even Amnesty International doesn't have much to say except, at this posting, they are hopeful about the May 9th elections. I was kind of hoping for a bit more outrage! I f you click on the Amnesty International logo, it will take you to the UN site (sorry 'bout that!) and the Council of Foreign Affairs logo will take you to their site. The UN link lists the new countries voted in and how many seats they have obtained.

Goldilocks Picnics With The Bears

Poppa Bear made toasted cheese sandwiches and tomato soup while the ladies chatted. Lil Dragon decided the littlest bed was "just right," and took her nap. For 'zerts we had chocolate cake made by moi. I love visiting the castle! (Especially at lunch time!!!!)
