I am not wicked smart; nor am I really stupid. However, I am beginning to question the IQ of some of my professors.

Bruce Smith-Bio II: This guy has a Doctorate in Biology. His speciality is plants (taxonomy). So, why is he telling the class that DDT should be used again? OR--that the flagella is proof of intelligent design....or that I don't have a brain because I am a "liberal."

Phil Avillo-American History: Neither I nor any other student is allowed to say, "God bless you," when someone sneezes!!!!

Update..

Darlin' Daughter is having the time of her life. Her roommate is from Shamokin...near Bloomsburg...and they are both the oldest of 4; each having 2 sisters and a brother. The two of them have been hanging out together and catching up with kids they met at orientation.

Tonite, Darlin' Daughter has a date! She met a boy from (get this...) Canon City, Colorado. You see, I lived there! Weird, huh?

She starts classes tomorrow. I am really excited for her. Hopefully, she can get all her books. She just had her schedule finalized on Friday. Sucks to be a freshman... he he he! She has already done dance and has met a girl from Chicago that she really likes, who is a dance major!

Darlin' Daughter has called home a bit, but now that school is going to start, I htink that will end. I suspect emails are going to be my only way of knowing what is happening. Oh well, she writes me those, too!

I really miss her!

Actually, they aren't poisonous, I want them all for myself! I baked cupecakes tonite and created a light chocolate frosting out of whipped cream and butter. MMMMM! So good and they really do melt in your mouth!

My two main men, Littleman and Truevalueman are off to Boy Scout Camp this week. Hawk Mountain is a preserve as well as a boy scout camp. I hope they have a great time! Oh! and I get the bed ALL to myself!
