A yearbook story

So...the yearbook chairperson, who will remain totally anonymous, but certainly humiliated, had the kids choose the cover and they chose the cover with the "beautiful waterfalls." As you can imagine, this did not go over well with the principal, superintendant and of course, the district's solicitor. Today, the committee was ripping off the "beautiful" covers and were dutifully replacing them the more secular cover below. Trust me, I giggled all day! In fact, I get to see the chairperson alot, so I am trying not to "cross" her...but I just can't help myself!!!

Scholarship

Darlin' Daughter received a $1000 scholarship from Dollars for Scholars last night. She also received her summa cum laude medal and plate!

Now all we have left is a music concert, Bacculareate and the GRADUATION!

In case you were wondering...

I got a 2.0 in chem!!! Yeah me! I totally passed the class! Brought my cum down to a 3.07, but who the hell cares???

There are those days!

I have finally gotten the house under my control! Well, at least there aren't little piles of fluff everywhere! Yuck!

Holy Shit!!! I cna't believe it!

Ok, so I go onto my Bio site...I am terrified! What if I really blew that fucking course???!! I am a bio major, after all!

Guess what????!!!! I had the 5th highest grade in the class! I am soooo not joking! I got a 3.5!!!! Oh my dear GAWD! Right now, I have a cum of 3.5!!! (I ended up with a 4.0, 3.0 and 3.5....so far!)

I think I need to breathe! *pants into a paper bag*

I am finally finished with my first semester back at school!!!

OK, the chem final was the EASIEST of all the tests I have taken with my pompous chem prof, but since I am taking him again, I am going to settle for NICE, pompous chem prof!

Nutrition was sooooo easy, I almost cried! Sha! At least one 4.0 on the the old report card!

YEAH!!!!!

Finalllyyyy...Finals!

Got thru the math final. Pretty sure I did ok. It was all multiple guess. The very first problem gave a helluva time! But, I figured out my mistake and I KNOW I got it right.

Bio final in about 45 minutes. I just finished studying. I know what I know for the first half on chapter 7... The rest of the final is a crossword puzzle and we can use our notes! God, I hope it's as easy as the rest of the puzzles I finish! ( Pray, pray, pray!)

Tomorrow I have my chem final...no big hopes there. It's all multiple choice, so I am screwed. Oh well, thank goodness I am re-taking the course.

I will also have my nutrition final tomorrow and then I am done. (Hurray!!) I only have to get a 70% to receive an A in that class...pressure's off!

I won't know what to do on Wednesday...well, maybe I will SLEEP!

Missing my life

Final stretch for me! I finally got a decent grade in chem...besides the 96% in lab, I got a 74% on the last exam! I took my lab practical this morning and I feel like I did preety well on it. I have my last CLASS in about an hour, so now it's crunch time for finals.

I will be studying in spite of prom this weekend...and the beautiful weather!

I also miss having my laptop...no hints...just feels weird not having it at my disposal. I think I am way too attatched to my electronics!
