A Chair for Dragon

Earlier this afternoon, I stopped by the Princess Bear's home to deliver a special gift: An Elmo Chair for Lil Dragon! Lil Dragon shouted "E-MO!" and touched his eyes and nose. I am quite sure this treasure will end up at Lao-Lao's, as it is noisy! But sure to be favorite seat for watching Sesame Street!

Just reflecting...

I chatted a little with Freakychica this evening. I think it's nice to know how one friendship can expand my concept of family and peace and serenity. John Lennon took risks to create a world where he was safe and felt loved. Did it cost him? Of course...for there is no risk that doesn't come with some loss. Best I can figure, maybe the loss was neccessary. For something new to enter, it sometimes requires something to exit.
Then I am reminded of blessed I really am. Although I have had to let go of important relationships, I have grown more fond of the ones I have chosen to nurture. Funny how love does that...always expanding, never contracting. Perhaps that's the whole point: Just Love. Wholly, freely; and the rest, well, in time, love will heal that too!
Or perhaps it maybe homemade Grape Jelly....

Losing my mind...oh, and a child!!!

Yes, you read it right....I lost a child today in Kohl's at Park City Mall. Imbecillin will know which child I lost, becuz she has lost her, too! But this time, we had a Code Adam going down. I was nearly sick with panic. I actually hoped she was hurt, that way I couldn't KILL her. She was found, however, in BonTon by her sister. Truevalueman said he wasn't so much worried that she was hurt when we couldn't find her, as much as she will be when we do! (And, NO! I didn't hurt her...I was too relieved.)

Good News for the New Year!!

Darlin' Daughter just received her admissions letter from Case!!! (She's in, of course!) But the BEST news is the $16,400 scholarship she is granted if she chooses to go there! YIPPEEE!

Baking Cookies with Momma Bear!

Yesterday, I drove to the castle and baked cookies with Momma Bear. We taught ourselves how to make Chinese Moon cookies and use the molds! It was a blast! I brought sugar cookie and gingerbread dough along to make some cut cookies for Momma Bear's open house on Sunday. Baking is always better with a buddy!

We are putting on our elf hats and doing some shopping tonight! I got all the gifts wrapped today (and hidden!) so I feel like I am just about ready for Santa Claus!

After spending 3 hours at Hopkins, my uncle had a melt-down. The Physiscian's Assistant received the brunt of his frustration. After filling out paper work after paper work, she told him she needed more of the same information. Well, that did it for him! He told her he had had it with the redunancies; then he got on his coat and told me we were leaving! Oh my! Then they called later and told him he needed to get a physical down there...he said no, that his doc will do it here and that is that.

My head hurts and I am fried!!!

And believe it or not, it's Penn State, University Park! Better than her mom and her uncle got, for sure! She was pleased...now, if we could only hear from Case-Western!

So, I'm a mean one...but I have to go to the store party tonight. Because Truevaluman made my life soooo miserable on Sunday, I kinda did one back to him. I know, NOT NICE! He called me AALLLL Day! I didn't answer the phone; just to keep him worried! (He wanted to see if I was still going.) He just pissed me off...and I feel Grinchy!
